| I bought some easyboots off ebay for beebee , I've only used them a couple of times and they seem to stay on and are easy to fit Have any of you used them more seriously , would be interested to hear your views | |

| My sister had them for her horse, she said that you need two pairs, one for just before and one for just after the farrier, I've tried a farrier that does 'parage naturel', see what it's like, from what he says they don't need shoes on, Monty Roberts swears by it |

| i have a pair of old macs, i use them occasionally and they have lasted years, they felt a bit clumsy on the front feet, so i kept the horse shod in front and used them on the hind feet, it is essential to measure the feet correctly, i measured his feet immediately after trimming and they were never any problem because the sizing allows for growth, i used an insert inside and used them on the back feet and they never moved, but you have to fasten them on fully tight and dead straight, he was doing fast work also. | |

| I have two friends who use "old mac" boots and wouldn't use anything else, they are both happy hackers who enjoy the odd gallop [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Pen | |

| yep have used old macs for a year now and love them !!! very happy horse . great hooves and much better traction on roads!!! can gallop over stony ground no problem and the mud is deep enough in winter to suck of any shoes but the macs dont move - convert!!!!! as stated above. correct fit is essential. | |
