| I have been offered a wonderful opertunitie the use of a yard, 24 stables, indoor school, manarge, 15 hectors, all paddocked up ready to go!!!! I've been luck to get myself a job Yhippy payed employment, large very exclusive top B/B just a few miles away from me. In my morning break I went for a walk to look at the wonderful gardens, walked through an arch way and their it was, this wonderful set up. I asked my employer about it and she said bring your horses use the yard, set it up if I wanted.!!! It was done 6 years ago for her daughter to run a riding center, but due to her daughters divorce ect. It was never started, so it just sit's there doing nothing. I have been given the weekend to get a basic plan together and talk with them next week. So guys and gals, question's are :- what registration do you need to run just d.i.y livery? Do I need french qaulifications? ( I have stable managment, but english) Do I need insurence ? Also I've noticed on Boncoin for my area yards asking 45 euros a week, is this the going rate? If anyone runs such a yard I would be most greatful for any information. Im in the Deux sevres area (79) so wont be nicking any clients lol. or any one have any thoughts I would be most greatful for thoughts advice or any experiences you have had as clients. Thanks in advance Sue. | |

| The paper work was a mine field, had loads of problems with the safer, no-one seems to know what is right. So for the moment have not bothered, wish I had just gone it allone and not bothered with contacting safer. So wonderful yard is sat mostly empty, have got mine their, I used the sand school last week myself. | |

| You can't get away from the SAFER I'm afraid They have made our lives an absolute misery over the last few years. I just wish we'd known what we know now when we were thinking of buying the property, we would have run a mile Anyway, if you can use it and enjoy it for yourself then make the most of it! I cannot wait for the day to arrive when we don't have to answer to the SAFER for everything. | |
