Shavings Supplier Please!

Does anyone use shavings for their horses in the Manche region? If so where do you source them? Or alternatives, but can completely not use straw!!!

I've in the past got them ( not many ) from Point Vert ( agrial ) type stores , they are not in the shop so to speak but in their hangers with the feed

ok thats a great start, as have managed to find a possible local point vert that also sells 16plus so was rather chuffed to find that. What is the french for shavings?

something like copeaux de bois but they seem to refer to them as just copeaux

We use the local Agrial and we get half a truck at a time that brings the price down a bit and helps the Agrial. we have searched here and Holland and England but in the end it was'nt worth the effort to change , even if we had a full truck delivered to us.

Jann would that be the point vert at periers or is that somewhere different? if so can you let me know, back to the vet situation< a Patrick Angels in Carentan? he seems to be all registered and a dentist too totally can not find the practice, and not sure if english speaking. or can anyone recomend good vet in the area arround La Hay Du Puits?
