anti rug ripping neck collar/cradle

hi all,

i have for sale a rare-ish item,

a wooden anti rug ripping collar/cradle,

this is what you put on a horses neck to prevent it being able to turn its head and neck to bite at rugs or wounds etc, but does not stop the horse eating or drinking as the up and down movement of the neck is not stopped.

it looks like a wooden rung rope ladder with leather fastening straps, its in great condition, i have been given it to sell on to raise funds for the red cross as i went to see some stuff they had for sale & was the only person able to tell them what the heck it was!

so anyone want it? it measures 20" throat to shoulder & is 35inch total all round at the shoulder end,

best offer over 20 euro wins, i can post it at buyers extra cost or if you are not far fetch it for diesel & a cuppa tea,

They may look like instruments of torture and therefore rare,(neck cradle) but they are available from Robinson's for about £20 salee, yours is for a good cause though, so good luck:)

yes but 20 euro is cheaper ( a bit) than £20 & there is no £15 min post charge either!

still no problem it can stay on top of the wardrobe till sold, or eventually it will become an antique & sell for double!

Why not just donate it to a horse rescue , Epona for example.

I am sure they can either find a use for it, or sell it themselves and use proceeds for

winter horse feed for the rescue's .

on my original post you can see i was given it by the red cross to sell for their benefit after it was donated to them but they did not know what the heck it was


so i can hardly give it to another charity can i?

i will just hang on till winter then p'haps there will be a taker for it?
