needs your help
Hélianthus is a non for profit animal charity, fully registered in France.
In view of the growing number of animals in distress, we are in very urgent need of bric-a-brac, furniture, household appliances and other items for our charity shop.
Spring cleaning, house clearance, new decor… please think of our charity should you have items you no longer need.
You can drop these off directly at the shop. In case of large quantities or heavy items, a collection service can be arranged. Please help us. Thank you.

About us: Founded in 2008, the aim of the association is to help stray, abandoned and endangered animals, and to assist elderly people on low income care for their little companions.*
We are not an animal refuge. We help with veterinary costs such as spaying, worming and testing, which can all encourage the adoption of an animal. We also endeavour to help people on very low income – mainly the elderly – to cover some of their veterinary bills. More recently, we have started putting together an assistance-network which is hoped to intervene when an elderly person needs to go to hospital for a short period of time, so that the wellbeing (and sometimes survival) of their little companion is no longer a worry for them.
Because of the ever-increasing demands for help, Helianthus extended its fund-raising means by inaugurating on December 4th, 2010, its very own Charity Shop. Based on the English model, this new concept for France sells donated items at extremely low prices (starting at 0.10 centimes) – bric-a-brac, furniture, household appliances, books, clothes….
Run by both French and English volunteers, all proceeds from the shop go to the charity. To date, the Charity Shop is the main source of financing of our various campaigns.
