PostSubject: Advice in the bringing on of a backed mare   Mon Sep 20, 2010 5:16 am

I have a lovely tempered 8 year old TB mare, who has been backed, walked, trotted whilst being lead, but needs the final fine tuning to complete the process. The trainer has used pirelli/monty roberts techniques, but now has injured himself and cant continue at the moment, also i feel that the process has taken longer than it should( It commenced in middle of May), perhaps i am being impatient.
Could someone advice me on someone who could carry on with the training, (based in La Manche region )and also does this method normally take this long?
She is an intellegent, well mannered girl, and is eager to learn.

Many thanks, hope you can help a confused guy here

There is a french girl in montpinchon, near coutance, who uses parelli in backing and breaking, I will pm you her details if you are interested.
