Me again on a different subject. Has anyone out there ever heard of an orienteering competition roughly in our area (Basse Normandie)? In the Uk they do orienteering as part of the general Le Trec competitions and it would be great for the mare as she looks like she is coming right at last! (fingers crossed). Long time yet before she will do obstacles tho. It would be a great start towards competing for her and not as tough as endurance.

Meanwhile HAVE A FAB TIME ON SATURDAY AND DON'T DRINK TOO MUCH!!! (Oh go on drink too much then if you must!! Lucky yous).

Hi Rona, You could always do the orientering bit of trec and just let her look at the obsticals or not even that if you didn't want to. they nearly always do the orientering first and it usualy takes at least 2 hours often longer and after that you could just go home again you would still know how you did against other people. Give it a try
