Cutting Hay Empty
PostSubject: Cutting Hay   Cutting Hay EmptyFri Jul 09, 2010 1:50 am

Hi,
Is there anyone out there that can come and cut hay for me? I have two fields just
sitting there waiting to be cut and no one to do it. The farmer that used to has
retired.
Would prefer small bales, but as I am having to buy hay in at the moment will put
up with large ones.
Used to get about 300/400 small ones, willing to go halves if anyone can help.
Near Torigni sur Vire
Dept 50
Many thanks

This man has just done ours, best catch them evenings or lunchtimes.

Daniel Piedagne 0233 55 70 85, he did his half in rounds and mine in small bales. Can be trusted. He speaks no English.

Thanks for that HB Cutting Hay Icon_smile , how much does he charge approx to do the job,[ the price per bale, large and small] or does he only do 50/50? Also does he bring it in for you?

I don't know what he is charging but that would be to be discussed but he is more than happy to do 50/50. They are very friendly reasonable hard working young farmers, that have obviously taken over the farm from dad. Mum is still on the scene.

He would bring it in for you as he offered to help us load, but we wanted to do it ourselves as we are on a weight loss drive! We class it as a work out.
