| Hi follyfoot and You lucky devil, what an exciting time for you, having all that put in place, it will be lovely to hear, and see it all come together for you and this is a good place for you to keep a record of how it's all going. You say that you're not a business, so can I be nosy and ask what horses you have and what you do with them ????? pen | |

| We have a few horses/ponies just to plod around on. Bit of hacking, bit of jumping, bit of dressage practice......... They have an easy life.
Don't compete over here but did the odd local show back in the UK. | |

| I thought a few cross country jumps might be nice, just a few low jumps to pop over. We had a similar course in one of the yards I was at and I always thought it a good idea. The farmhands used to moan that they were a pain in the ass to cut around for hay though - but us 'stable girlies' didn't have to do that job..... | From what I can gleen am a few hours away. Ah yes, Follyfoot - Dora was always miserable (and a bit older than me so I never quite 'got' what was going on with her and that aloof guy - was he called Steve?). I'd love to see an episode now - old brown velvet hats with a bit of elastic for a chinstrap, hard wooden tree saddles, and all set back in the days when the BHS would award you an AI just for turning up for the exam. | Lame. Doing our best but it's taking a while to sort out. Yes I was reading some of you guys had found a new chemin or two, then I came across one myself. Must be some sort of 'parallel universe' cos I never spotted it before... | |

| It's coming along slowly but surely. Had a bit of a problem getting the geotextile at a decent price but it's now awaiting collection from the uk and will be with us next week.

| His problem is that he thinks he is a hunk of a stallion and does the good old rearing front foot flail thing to impress the girls and tell the other lad to back off (they aren't even in the same field). So bouncing about and banging down on the hard ground has given him problems.

| Horses are well but unimpressed with the wind and rain. Got the Geotex here (and the tape! ) so that's all sorted. | |
