It's SweetItch time of year again so thought I'd share this with you here:

Firstly, a good rub in of a liberal application of Sudocrem (my pony loved this part). Get it down down onto the roots of the tail hair. It sooths the skin and helps to soften brittle tail hair.

Once applied, the flies don't appear to want to go near the stuff, it's too thick and sticky for their liking (y'all prob know this but; Sudocrem is for eczema, surface wounds, sunburn etc and is used for nappy rash on babies).

Followed by an application of Emouchine around the tail area and over the other parts of the tail (and the rest as per usual).
