I myself did not see this years Aintree grand national, so i am asking those who did for their opinion,
during a recent TV raceing programme the subject of if the use whips should be banned, most who were asked said yes to a ban except where needed to control a horses direction from wandering on line & possibly causing an accident
*the report on TV also said the grand national winning jockey had received a
9 day ban for excessive whip use
& that the horse which won
needed oxygen after the race.
is this true? did anyone know & what do you think of it? personally i think if it
is true a 9 day ban is far too lenient, the jockey still has the 'glory' of a national win...even if he flogged the horse,
a 9 day ban so what!

a nice holiday to celebrate in, why not a prosecution for un-nessesary suffering or the disqualification of the win?
who thinks what?... bye
